Mon ami at Sixpack France have published this 24cm x 34cm, 64 page zine which I titled ‘Can the Drummer Give Some Back’. It is a collection of illustration and generative artwork exploring ideas I have had relating to cultural and artistic entropy. It is available now from the Sixpack online shop. As part of my recent involvement in the It Was On Earth That I Knew Joy exhibition at the Scion Installation L.A. I was also asked to design a poster to promote the film directed by Jean-Baptiste de Laubier of the same name. The poster was printed by the master screenprinter, Serge of Lowrider who not only did the most amazing job I’ve ever seen but was one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met.

You can now buy this 70×100cm screenprinted poster from Sixpack online.

The exhibition is curated by Joseph Allen and Malcom Smith and will include works by Ben Barretto, Martin Bell, The Changes, Marley Dawson, Ross Manning, Spat + Loogie and Paul Winkler. I’m particularly excited about Martin Bell and Ben Barretto.

Opening night is Thursday 29th of January, from 6pm. More info from Izrock and ACP.
